Farm Day's Mission

In an effort to reach and educate more community members about local agriculture, Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG) founded Farm Day in 2013 which has grown into the largest agricultural community engagement event on the Central Coast!

On Farm Day, local growers, wineries and other agricultural organizations open their doors to the public and provide community members with the opportunity to learn about local agriculture and its connection to nutritional well-being. Through this educational experience, Farm Day works to cultivate a community of agricultural advocates who will help us support local farms and ranches.

What’s good for local growers, is good for the economy, is good for you!

“If we don’t have the advocacy from the community we won’t survive”
